We decided to start the company after graduating from college in the spring of 2004. Our girlfriends made us needlepoint belts as gifts and after doing a little research we decided to start making some of our own. We knew our biggest challenge would be finding and training skilled artisans. It took us a while, but after meeting face to face with our current stitchers in Vietnam, we knew we had found the right fit. We now provide opportunities for nearly 2,000 people in a cottage industry that spans 16 villages. As our company has grown, it has truly been a pleasure to watch the success of our artisans grow as well.
Five years down the line business is better than ever. Due to the quality of our hand-stitched needlepoint, we feel we are bringing the high-quality products to you that we had only dreamed about as college seniors.
